Our Purpose . . . . .
The Lower Trinity Valley Bird Club since 1992 is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the preservation and educational study of the birds of Texas. We actively support local sites such as the Anahuac and Trinity River National Wildlife Refuges, HAS Sanctuaries and TOS Sabine Woods.
We meet monthly from September to May, with the exception of April, on the second Saturday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Mont Belvieu Methodist Church, 10629 Eagle Drive, Mont Belvieu, Texas 77523.

The January meeting of the Lower Trinity Valley Bird Club will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Mont Belvieu Methodist Church, 10629 Eagle Dr., Mont Belvieu, TX 77523.
The presentation will be on Purple Martins by Jace Stansbury, a Texas Master Naturalist, with 32 years’ experience as a Purple Martin Landlord and an active member of the Purple Martin Conservation Association. Jace’s presentation will increase our knowledge of Purple Martins and explain what it means to be a Purple Martin landlord. Learn more about this fascinating bird and its unique relationship with people.

Meetings are the second Thursday of each month except in the Summer. September - May.
We welcome experienced and new Birders. All meetings include: a short business meeting, review of club activities, interesting bird encounters from the past month, and a program over a nature/birding topic. Be sure to come early for our "Birder's Chat" time.
